Jumeirah Beach Park in Dubai
Jumeirah beach park is ideal for a family picnic on the weekends. It has supple sand and grassland, the beach-park hybrid has clean toilets and dressing rooms, a swimming pool, volleyball courts and ample parking. It is a favourite weekend hangout for many of the city’s residents and reasonable price means it’s also usually swamped.
Jumeirah park spans across 12 hectares of parkland with children’s play areas, picnic tables, barbecue area, volleyball play area, showers, food kiosks, jetty area fronting on to the beach with lifeguards on duty. It is a marvelous painting of landscaping and environmental coordination. Looking down from an airplane, we could contemplate on architectural harmony mixed with a beautiful contrast of colors, where the blue gulf water floats on a golden shore followed by artistically designed green spaces. Jumeirah beach park was opened in 1989 to be the first beach park, overlooking directly the Arabian Gulf in Jumeirah residential area. Different earth levels distinguish the park, constituting a group of green hills encompassing recreational and games areas.
